This course is designed to cover the basic fire prevention, awareness and what to do in the event of a fire.

  • Who should attend?

    Appropriate for all candidates who are employed or anyone who works on their own or may be in a position where they have to take responsibility for tacking a fire in a workplace.

  • Course Content

    This course covers the following topics;

    • Causes of workplace fire & their prevention
    • What to do when discovering a fire
    • Evacuation procedures including protecting disabled staff and visitors
    • Location and use of fire extinguishers
  • Benefits of the Course

    Learners will be provided with the knowledge and skills of Fire Safety, how to reduce the starting of fires and safe practices when in the workplace. 

  • Assessment

    The trainer will assess each individual on going throughout the course.

  • Duration

    This course is delivered over 3 hours.

    Courses can be carried out at our fit for purpose venue, details below, or your chosen venue.  Courses carried out off-site will undergo a rigorous risk assessment to ensure suitability for the delivery of your session.
