Menter Training has worked with Highfields Awarding Body of Compliance for many years. Thorough quality assurance is carried out on each session to ensure that standards are maintained. The course has been designed in line with the Resuscitation Council Guidelines.
Who should attend?
Anyone wishing to learn First Aid skills and knowledge, whether for personal or professional use. This course will also allow trainers to deliver First Aid in their organisations.
The course will cover:
- Roles and responsibilities
- Practical skills in CPR, Recovery Position, Choking, wounds & bleeding, AED
- Other relevant medical emergencies
Benefits of the Course
By attending this course, learners will be provided with in depth information relating to several possible first aid situations. Learners will be supported to carry out effective and life saving treatment. All learners attending this course will be identified as a ‘Qualified First Aider’. This course will also allow a trainer to deliver First Aid training to their own employees, alongside the BTEC Level 3 Education and Training.
Learners will carry out formative assessments, along with multiple practical skills and complete a workbook during the course.
In line with Highfields Awarding Body of Compliance, this course is delivered over 21 hours.
Delivery of this course will take place out of our fit for purpose venue in Cardiff.
