IOSH People Handling for Practising Trainers

Menter Training has worked very closely with the Institution of Safety and Health (IOSH) for many years and are privileged to gain IOSH status for this course.
Who should attend?
Trainers who are currently delivering Manual Handling of People In their organisations will be encouraged to undertake this qualification to meet the high standards of training and delivery. This qualification should be undertaken 3 yearly to maintain competency.
For any delegate to be able to attend this course, it is required that the delegate holds a current Train the Trainer certificate in Manual Handling.
The course will cover:
- Review of Manual Handling theory – Trainers perspective
- Review of Manual Handling practical – Trainers perspective
Benefits of the Course
In a forever changing subject, it is vital that all trainers who deliver Manual Handling of People to their staff are maintaining their competency. This qualification provides you with the recognition from IOSH that you have met the required standards to continue with your delivery. You will be provided with all the relevant information and skills to continue working as a Manual Handling trainer.
Learners will deliver a practical based Micro-Teach, along with a written exam. Examinations will be marked and submitted to IOSH for moderation.
This course is delivered over 21 hours.
Delivery of this course will take place out of our fit for purpose venue in Cardiff.
